Midrange Data Upload
Production within a quality range depends mostly on the conditions in which the production line is carried out; more precisely, the correct set up of the calibration of the components of a production line will allow to standardize the production process within rational criteria that guarantee the repeating of the events and the stability of the product’s features.
MDU is a vertical software that has been programmed for the filing and the consultancy of the documentation of these set ups, distributed on the company LAN and accessible for the users or user-groups who are entitled for the access.
The areas can be of various kinds: Electric -, Mechanical-, and Process set ups.
The production line is divided in hierarchical manner: from the macro area you can arrive to identify the most important details.
For these, the System Administrator MDU can create a datasheet that contains the target values and the related tolerances, together to the photographical documentation that makes the consultancy intuitive and immediate. It will be easy for an operator to know which set up has to be used when he has to produce a configuration according to the following parameters: line, product, format, speed.
The experience of the people has to be an added value to the production, not a limit; as a matter of fact, the distribution of the information will allow the interchangeability of personnel and will not depend on skilled personnel.
The operations of format change or product change, normally very onerous in terms of machine stop and start-up, are being speeded up in a remarkable way due to the possibility of concentrating only on the calibration that change from a configuration to another.
The program allows the planning of midrange controls in order to keep trace on how many times there have been production problems in non-standard conditions, relating them to the defective products found in quality control.
The understanding of these variables allows the optimization of the production processes intending to reduce the machine stops and the number of rejects of defective parts.
